We are fortunate to live in a beautiful area in Northern Ireland between the Mourne Mountains and the sea, giving plenty of variety for exercising the dogs! All our dogs live in the house with us and are very much part of family life.The kennel name we have chosen is "DRUIMDERG" which is Gaelic for Red Ridge. Although Alfie is our first ridgeback, I have owned and shown Great Danes since 1984, having had two Irish Champions.Due to family commitments, I had to stop showing for a few years but when my daughter persuaded me to get a ridgeback in 2004 it rekindled my interest in showing. We currently have 4 ridgebacks - their lines are from the Veldtkammer kennel.
