Another of the 'show team' gets a brilliant first critique -Denise Courtney Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Scotland 7.11.10

PB 2 Maclean-Clark's Druimderg Dancin Wit Fire at Callmn, Another lovely youngster. Feminine head with dark, aloof eye. Good topline, ridge and tail carriage. Impressive mover who covered the ground well. Presented and handled well.

Druimderg Dancin wit Fire - owned by Andy Clarke and Louise McClean is 2nd in Puppy Bitch at her first show and qualifies her for Crufts. All four pups who are shown have now all qualified!!

Belfast CH Show (English Kennel Club)

Alfie wins the Dog CC - BOTH JACOB AND BELLA QUALIFY FOR CRUFTS!

Bella wins Best Puppy in Breed and at just under 8 months wins BEST PUPPY IN THE HOUND GROUP!!! (judge Nev Newton)

Carlow Ch Show - TEN TIMES A CHAMPION!!!! Alfie wins his 70th Green Star (only 7 are needed for the Irish title) and takes BOB and Group 3. Prada was 1st in Open Bitch and Res Green Star. Bella was 1st in Puppy Bitch and in the final 4 in the Puppy Bitch Stakes. (Jacob was having a day off!!)

At the IKC International Show Bella goes Best Puppy in Group!!! Alfie is Res Green Star dog and Res CACIB and Prada takes Res CACIB as well!

Next day at the IKC National CH Show Alfie wins Green Star Dog (number 69) and Prada is 1st in Open Bitch and Bella takes the Res Green Star

BEST IN SHOW RHODESIAN RIDGEBACK CLUB OF IRELAND CH SHOW (GILLIAN CRAVEN UK HESPA)

Did the first few shows of the Irish 'Circuit' - didn't do all week because it was the pups first stay away from home and a full week would have been too tiring for them. They took everything in their stride and were absolutely brilliant.

Hound Association of Ireland Ch Show (Groups 4,6,10) Alfie was Green Star Dog, Bella was Best Puppy in Breed and went on to take the RESERVE BEST PUPPY IN SHOW!!

Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Ireland Ch Show - Judge breed specialist Gillian Craven (Hespa) Alfie went BEST IN SHOW!!!!!!!

Clonmel Ch Show - Alfie was Res Green Star Dog

Killarney Ch Show - Alfie was Res Green Star Dog and Bella was Res Green Star Bitch

Druimderg Fire Me Up owned by Jane Castell gains his KC Bronze Good Citizen Award at exactly six months today!!! Congratulations Clever Boy!!!

Dundalk Ch Show: Alfie wins Green Star and BOB and again Group 2, Prada is first in Open Bitch.

Sligo Ch Show: Alfie wins Green Star (his 65th) and BOB and goes on to take Group 2, Prada is first in Open Bitch

Irish Ladies Ch Show: Alfie wins Green Star and Prada wins Reserve Green Star

Swords Ch Show: Alfie wins Green Star and Prada wins Reserve Green Star. Alfie then goes on to win the Champion Stakes under UK judge Derek Smith - this qualifies him for the Champion of Champions Competition in December in Dublin!!

Banbridge Ch Show Alfie again takes Green Star BOB and Group 2 under Rodney McDowell (Ireland). Prada also had her first outing after her maternity leave and took Res Green Star.

The first International Ch Show of 2010 sees Alfie take his 60th Green Star, his 10th CACIB and he also took BOB under Mr C Fernandez Renau (Spain) and then took Group 1 under Liz Cartledge (GB)!!

FEBRUARY : The Irish Kennel Club confirm that Alfie is Annual Champion for 2009 - the TOP RIDGEBACK IN IRELAND FOR THE THIRD YEAR IN A ROW!!!!
